@R8erNation636 I agree KLINGONS, and maybe Dorn in a cameo, but not a big role, it’d be too big a distraction.
DEFINITELY no Borg or Ferengi, and no Khan either, if Montobahn was still alive it’d take an A+ actor to do Khan again; with him dead, let Kahn stay dead, that’s the Shatner-Kirk’s arch nemesis, and such a perfect combo…
I’d so with two straight films with Romulans no Romulans either, really…
I’d say Klingons brutalizing Vulcans, and so it’s personal, and you have a message
Hope we see the Klingons in the next movie. Maybe a cameo by J.G. Hertzler, Michael Dorn, or Robert O’Reily, please? Cardassians would be OK. Just no Borg, Khan, or Ferengi!!!
…
Ok, this and “Firefly’s” themes make my day.
Michael G. did a awesome job. the music to Star Trek closing theme sounds purrrfect.
new star trek film, same trek theme song but changed a lot and extended.
and a whole new star trek film score for a young remake cast and crew. Alex did a great job with it and I’m happy its not coinciding with the TNG title intro at all. I haven’t got the CD yet but I’m looking 4ward 2 it. I like 2 hear it from youtube 1st
The best Trek film! Kirk and the crew are back.
This is beautiful! As corny as it sounds, it makes my heart swell with pride that I’m a Star Trek fan.
The part at 0:21 is my favorite part!
Michael Giacchino is a worthy sucessor to the great composers of Star Trek past. Just as this movie is a worthy revisiting of the classic series.
Star Trek will live on in the new generation thanks to this awesome piece. Even though some fans might not agree, thanks to this film, I’m checking out most of the episodes recently, still fantastic even though its over 40 years old. <3
@calumknight1984
difference is-i didnt know the guy was from britain when the person told me i was like “wtf cares?”
and it really wouldnt offend me if u called amrican police officers british cause i personally dont care for other peoples opinions
@stringerboi the equivalent now would be me saying the american police officers that went into the twin towers to pull survivors out are all british heroes and im pretty sure that would offend you and every other american as well as the family of the cop and his m8′s in the police force
@stringerboi stringerboi (1 month ago) @LoriCiani
there is no courage holding a gun. Any1 can do that. and your father is a good all american Kudos to him (ring a bell)
@stringerboi Ah, you think that courage only comes with wielding a gun? I know of a man who was an ARP warden, he had to dig out the bodies of close members of his own family after a bomb had hit the tenement. His two sisters and a baby still in it’s mothers dead arms. My own father refused his medals saying that he would only accept them when everyone in Britain got one. He believed in the quiet courage that was shown by the common man during the darkest of hours.
@calumknight1984
i have no idea what your talking about- nor do i care about anything i say being offensive. i am not a PC person =]
@stringerboi its about that arp warden thingy, stupid youtube cant put answer to sentences together still i see
so you you know arp wardens were ah civilian organization to look after civilians during the blitz in the uk ww2 they help with the lights blackout, get people to shelters during blackout etc so your comments on them being all merican heroes was actually slightly offensive considering they would have almost definatly been from the uk they were most likely NOT from the u.s
@calumknight1984
what?
@stringerboi and he wasnt a combat vet either
lol
@stringerboi do you have any idea what she was on about??? LOL ARP wardens were the guys who looked after civilians during the blitz in the uk during ww2. So to say he was all american we would class as an insult as very few americans were in the uk at that point (i say not many cos there were the few that came over to fight for us but that was before america got involved)
Yes, yes we are.
I love how people assume I’m a dude. But I’m just your everyday girl who loves things that girls don’t normally love. <3
i agree man. star wars was g00d and all, but star trek had more depth and meaning in every episode. star wars was just an intergalactic soap opera
I like both Star Wars and Star Trek but I think Star Trek has always had slightly more substance to it because it was never based a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. It’s based on this world’s future. But like I said, I love them both for different reasons.
As they have every right to be.
Star Wars fans are just pissed that their prequels sucked
